NH Fly Tyer
Scott Biron cut his teeth learning to fly tie and fly fish in the 1960s in the North County of New Hampshire. An active fly tying instructor for NH Fish & Game and is popular tying and instructing in regional shows. He was the 2017 recipient of the NH Traditional Arts Grant and studied under Peggy Brenner in an apprenticeship
program. He has a strong interest in historical NH fly tyers and their their lost patterns. A member of the
Catskill Fly Tyers Guild and an author for the NH Fish & Game’s Wildlife Journal with an article on caddis flies.
In part of our study we focused on NH fly tvers and quickly found out that there is limited information available. My goal is to fill in some of the blanks and add them to this website.
